• For Koreans, bulgogi pizza might be the standard when it comes to pizza. What's impressive is the adventurous spirit that took this concept further and created an upgraded menu item called Topdong Galbi. It has all the comforting texture of bulgogi, plus the distinctive flavor unique to Topdong galbi. On top of that, it comes loaded with very large whole shrimp. Both toppings are delicious, but personally I think Topdong Galbi, more than the shrimp, might be Kkubeoseu's signature menu. The large size seems just right for two grown adults.

• Spaghetti gratin is pizza's eternal sidekick. Anyone who's been around pizza knows exactly what I mean.

• The white sauce above isn't garlic sauce — it's "yogurt sauce." Dipping the crust end in it is amazing. Add a cheese-stuffed crust and it's the perfect sweet-and-salty combo. Some people skip the crust and toss it out, but thanks to this yogurt sauce, that probably won't happen here. Who would have thought to use yogurt as a sauce... it's genius, revolutionary even. Why have I been foolishly relying on nothing but garlic sauce and hot sauce all this time? It made me realize once again just how big the world really is.

• Both the taste and the price are satisfying. It's like a Chanel designer collaborating with SPAO to design clothes. You could call it the RYZEN of the pizza world.

• This is a pizza that goes above and beyond the basics. From now on, every pizza can proudly be measured against Kkubeoseu. I'll officially certify it as Kkubeoseu Pizza 1.0. Tonight makes me want pizza instead of seafood pancake for Chuseok.
