A Little Life Hack

An idea for training creativity suddenly came to me.
Take the assumptions and concepts we take for granted
and think about where they came from.
Not by researching, but using only your own imagination
to line up possibilities and reason your way there.

For example, why is the number 7 considered lucky?
Why do people find mismatched socks strange?
What is existentialist literature?

Questions like these.
Since this isn't homework,
you shouldn't look things up to find the answer.
It's like studying English by peeking at the answer key — it just makes you less effective.

I have a feeling that if I mobilize every tool of thought
I've gathered over my whole life
and reason through these questions,
my creativity would grow.
Of course, I shouldn't make the mistake of taking my own reasoning as absolute truth.

Curiosity is the mother of creativity.
Making a habit of asking questions like this will build creativity.

And as proof of that,
maybe I should try being the first person to do it?
